August was Urban Art Month. We organized 5 workshops for children and adults from Sighişoara and welcomed those visiting our famous medieval city. We had reading workshops for the little ones, introductory seminars in the napkin technique, collaborative painting and textile painting workshops, and furniture refurbishing workshops.
The coordination of the workshops was handled by the members of the MET team, as well as volunteers: we had with us Cristina and Monica, from the NABU Foundation, who took care of the reading workshops, Romaniţa and Monica, from Monica Manu Maison, who coordinated the furniture refurbishment workshops.
Everything happened in the Butchers’ Bastion, in Sighisoara, recently restored and prepared as a space for events and cultural activities. It is a real joy to see the space become alive and animated by the participants in the activities that delight the mind and especially the soul.
