On September 30th, Join us for Harvest Day in Archita

The Mihai Eminescu Trust Foundation, the Discover Archita Association, and the Vânători Commune Hall invite you to join us for our second annual Harvest Day celebration in beautiful Archita village on Saturday, September 30th, from 2 o’clock until lunchtime. Harvest Day will take place on the green in front of Archita’s Evangelical Church, the village’s most significant cultural landmark.

We look forward to showcasing the best of our local Transylvanian culture, from delicious local dishes – the truffle omelette and pancakes with homemade jam are not to be missed – to folk music performances, children’s craft workshops and an enveloping festive atmosphere. Locals and members of the “Discover Archita” association will be showcasing their craftsmanship and culinary talents, and children’s workshops will be led by foundation volunteers alongside local craftsmen. Last year’s Harvest Day even featured lively dancing, where locals, guests, and tourists alike joined in to celebrate Archita’s beauty, history, and the harvest together in a truly unique atmosphere.

Harvest Day has been organized as part of the “ȘURA – Laboratory for experimentation and inclusive civic engagement” project. The project is implemented by the Mihai Eminescu Trust Foundation and is the recipient of €240,804 in funding from the Active Citizens Fund Romania program, financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway through EEA Grants 2014-2021.
