Santa Claus or MET?

This year, alongside our enthusiastic helpers – volunteers and friends of the Foundation – we will distribute 1,670 Christmas gifts received from Germany’s humedica e.V. to kindergarteners and schoolchildren across sixteen of our partnering villages. This month, we seek to bring joy into children’s hearts by reaching every planned village in our area.

As they do every year, the kindergartens and schools across our partnering villages enable us to share the holiday spirit with as many village children as possible. We want to warmly thank these teachers and caretakers for being “Santa’s helpers,” our trusted partners as we work to deliver many gifts on time before the holidays. We fondly remember how children of all ages sang to us, performed carols, and recited poems when we came to their villages bearing gifts in years past.

In the past, we have relied on the diligent help of teams of volunteers from Sighișoara to ensure that our gifts made it into the right hands on time. This year, two volunteers from humedica e.V. will lend us a helping hand by working alongside our MET Foundation colleagues for a week to ensure the timely delivery of gifts.

We will keep you updated on how things are going.
