The Butcher’s Tower: a tower for the people of Sighișoara

Starting with this summer, the Butchers’ Tower and Bastion in the citadel of Sighisoara will become a welcoming space for events. We are talking about carefully organized cultural events for the people of Sighisoara, which is really good news because the cultural places in Sighisoara are so rare and the residents’ appetite for events, proven by recent local studies, is quite well represented.

Now we already know that concerts with good music will be heard in the Bastion, plays
adapted to current themes will be staged and film screenings related to contemporary
issues will be screened.

As soon as we finish setting up the space, we will start the agenda we have planned, which
includes a rich series of events this summer and next summer. Therefore, follow the
