Update Regarding Progress of MET’s “Casa Noastră Viscri” Project

We are proud to share that all preliminary studies and research reports pertaining to our project “Casa Noastră Viscri” – the restoration and functional conversion of a Saxon home into a multifunctional public community space taking place at Viscri #140 – have been completed, including: geological, historical and façade studies, a topographic survey, as well as a technical expertise report. The results thereof have been incorporated into the Technical Documentation for Approval of Interventions, which was initially submitted to the beneficiary and funder of the project in late June 2023.

The technical project proposes the arrangement of flexible spaces in the three buildings located at Viscri #140: the residential house, the annex, and the barn. The spaces will be repurposed for community socialization, non-formal education, cultural events, medical therapies, and volunteer accommodations. The National Heritage Institute, through its Architecture Stamp program, funded the completion of the technical documentation necessary for all design phases (DALI, DTAC, PT and DE) at “Casa Noastră Viscri.”
