Visit to the Ivan Patzaichin Museum – Community Innovation Center

Beginning of last week, the members of the Mihai Eminescu Trust Foundation team had a meeting with the team from the Ivan Patzaichin Museum – Community Innovation Center, in Mila 23.

Designed and built as a space for artistic residencies and research, the museum is first and foremost a tribute to one of the world’s most decorated athletes with an impressive track record.

The mission of this very special place is to present the life and concerns of the great champion regarding the Delta, but also to encourage the culture and expression of the traditions of the members of the Lipovan community who live in this area of Romania.

This is also the place where the first local gastronomic point (PGL) in our country was opened, a model of community collaboration and an important first step for putting the value of local gastronomy and improving the life of the community.

We enjoyed this visit, the warm welcome from Teodor Frolu & Ștefania Sahanschi, members of a dedicated team.
