Annual Report 2025

The Annual Report 2025 brings together the projects, people and experiences that shaped the work of Mihai Eminescu Trust throughout the year. It offers a clear view of how heritage, nature and local communities come together in a shared journey, built with patience, care and consistency.

In 2025, MET continued its work in villages and towns across Transylvania, following a clear direction: community involvement, respect for local identity and long-term investment in the future. Heritage restoration, education, nature conservation and support for local initiatives remained at the core of every project.

All the year’s projects and outcomes are brought together in a single document that provides a coherent picture of the impact of community-based work.

This report is an invitation to understand the processes behind each initiative and the ways in which heritage can become a meaningful resource for local development.

A year of collaboration

Every intervention began with careful attention to the local context and was developed together with the people who live there. Restoration, training, dialogue and civic engagement worked as parts of the same process.

The projects carried out in 2025 supported education, the local economy, traditional crafts and care for the landscape, with results that are visible in the everyday life of communities.
